About this project.
As with all of our brand developments, we started by defining Wadar’s visual identity, including logo usage, colour palette, typography and imagery.
Logo Development
The Wadar logo features a classic and elegant font with curves and serifs, conveying sophistication, timeless beauty and quality. The ‘Beauty is Power’ slogan sits beneath the logo in a smaller, delicate font, reinforcing the brand message without overpowering the logo.
The prominent ‘W’ icon serves as a recognisable brand identifier and reflects the monogram logos often associated with luxury brands, adding a touch of prestige and timelessness.
Lastly, the logo’s structured frame symbolises power, stability and confidence, while the graceful ‘W’ represents beauty and elegance. This combination conveys the brand’s ability to offer both aesthetic appeal and empowerment.
Colour Palette
We felt that the very nature of the Wadar brand lent itself to a more muted colour palette, with tones associated with luxury and high-end fashion, offering a sense of calmness, neutrality and sophistication. These colours also pair well with a wide range of outfits. Metallic accents further complement the colour palette and evoke a sense of luxury. Rose gold and silver are particularly effective pairings.
This brand development included creating standard marketing collateral, such as social media and website graphics, email templates, business cards etc, as well as additional retail-specific elements, such as clothing tags and product packaging.
